I still cannot stop smiling when I think about last night. It started so ordinary, just another Friday after a long week at the bank, the kind where I had been all stern faces and sharp words with the young ones on my team. By the time I got home and changed into something a bit nicer, the need for a proper night out was humming under my skin. Shoreditch felt right, the lights and the noise and that particular London buzz that always makes me feel alive.
I met him near the bar, tall enough that I had to tip my head back a little, dark hair that caught the low light, and a smile that was easy without trying too hard. We talked for a while, nothing deep, just the usual banter that somehow felt warmer than most. One drink turned into two, and then the air between us shifted. I felt it first in my chest, that soft pull of interest turning into something sharper, something that made my pulse sit higher in my throat. When he suggested we leave, I did not hesitate.
Back at mine the door had barely closed before his hands found my waist. He kissed like he meant it, slow at first then deeper, the kind of kiss that makes everything else fade. I remember the taste of him, a little of the drink we had shared and something warmer underneath. My fingers slid into his hair while his palms traced the curve of my back, pulling me closer until there was no space left. The heat built so quickly it surprised even me. Clothes came away without much thought, just the soft sound of fabric and the cooler air of the flat against skin that already felt too warm.
He was good with his mouth, patient and attentive in a way that made me melt against the sheets. I felt every careful movement, the warmth of his breath, the way my body answered before I could even think. Pleasure rolled through me in slow waves at first, then sharper, until I was gripping the duvet and letting soft sounds escape without caring how they landed. When he moved over me the shift was seamless, that high energy I always crave taking over. He held me firmly, guided me where he wanted, and I loved the feeling of being taken like that, the solid weight of him, the way my body opened and welcomed every deep stroke.
There were moments when he turned me, lifted me, used the strength in his arms so I felt completely held and completely free at the same time. Oral again, then more, the rhythm building until the pleasure tightened low in my belly and spread outward in bright, shaking pulses. I came hard, body arching, breath catching, every nerve lit up and singing. He followed soon after, the two of us tangled and breathing hard, skin damp and hearts still racing.
Afterwards we lay there for a while, his hand tracing lazy patterns along my side while I listened to the quiet of the flat. It felt sweet in a way I do not always expect from a night like that, idealistic almost, as if for a few hours the perfect balance of rough and tender had actually existed. He left before morning, a soft kiss at the door and no awkward promises, which suited me fine.
This morning I told the girls over coffee, watching their faces light up as I shared just enough. We laughed until our sides hurt, the way we always do. I still feel the pleasant ache in my muscles and that quiet glow under my skin. Nights like that remind me why I stay open to the unexpected. Somewhere out there is the man who will do all of this and stay for the morning cuddles too. Until then, I will keep collecting these perfect, heated memories and smiling about them the next day.
