If you want to get hold of me, use the form on this page and write like a person. I read everything. I do not reply to everything, mostly because I am slow on messages and I already spend my days managing a team. If it matters, I will come back to you.
I take article ideas, guest submissions, and the occasional request for a subject you want me to write about. If you are sending a piece, keep it clean of anyone’s real name unless you have their say so. No revenge posts. No “please destroy my ex” briefs. No work gossip that could get either of us in trouble. I work in a bank. I am not blowing up my life for a spicy anecdote.
Guest articles should sound like they came from a human being with a point of view. I like first person, proper paragraphs, and a story that goes somewhere. I am not after press releases, affiliate lectures, or anything that reads like it was built to rank. If it is personal, say what you felt. If it is an opinion, own it. Length can vary. Quality cannot.
Requests are fine. “Write about this” is useful. “Write my entire dating history for me” is not. I will not take commissions that ask me to invent meetings with people who did not happen, and I will not publish anything that outs a private person. If your email is basically a hunt for someone I’ve spoke about, save us both the time.
Collaborations, podcast chats, and sensible press queries are welcome if you are clear about who you are and what you want. Tell me the deadline. Tell me the angle. Do not send a fourteen paragraph pitch for a one line ask.
