I still cannot quite believe how quickly everything shifted last night. One minute I was leaning against the sticky bar in that little Hackney place, second glass of something sharp already warming my cheeks, and the next this tall dark-haired man was standing close enough that I could smell the clean soap on his skin. He had that quiet confidence that always gets me, the sort that does not need to shout. His eyes caught mine and held, and something in my stomach fluttered hard.

We talked for a while about nothing important, the music, the rain outside, the way East London never really sleeps. His voice was low and steady, and every time he smiled I felt that familiar spark light up under my ribs. When he asked if I wanted to leave, I heard myself say yes before I had even finished thinking it through. The walk back to mine felt charged, our shoulders brushing, the cold air doing nothing to cool the heat building between us.

Inside the flat the door had barely clicked shut before his hands were on me. He kissed like he meant it, deep and searching, the kind of kiss that makes your knees soften and your thoughts scatter. I melted into it, arms looping around his neck, and for a moment it stayed almost tender. Then the energy changed. He spun me, pressed me firmly against the wall, and the thrill of being held so securely sent a rush straight through me. My breath caught as his mouth moved to my neck, tasting the pulse there, and I let out a soft sound I could not hold back.

Clothes came away in a hurried tangle. The feel of his skin against mine was electric, warm and solid. He lifted me as if I weighed nothing and carried me through to the bedroom, laying me down only to pull me straight back up again. I loved the way he moved me, turning me, guiding my hips, the strength in his arms making every shift feel deliberate and exciting. When his mouth found the softest parts of me I arched without thinking, fingers tightening in the sheets, waves of pleasure rolling higher with every careful, insistent stroke of his tongue. The sensation built so steadily that I could feel it gathering low in my belly, sweet and overwhelming at once.

He did not rush. He seemed to know exactly when to slow and when to push further, drawing those sounds from me that I usually keep quiet. Later, when he took me fully, the stretch and fullness made my eyes flutter shut. He held me close at first, then shifted so he could move with more force, lifting and turning me until I was completely given over to the rhythm. Every thrust sent fresh sparks racing along my spine. I clung to him, legs wrapping tight, and the pleasure kept climbing until it broke in long, shimmering waves that left me trembling and breathless against his chest.

We stayed like that for a while afterwards, his hand stroking slow circles on my back while our breathing settled. Even then the soft idealistic part of me stirred, the quiet hope that maybe one day someone like him might stay, might want the cuddles and the ordinary mornings as much as the fire. For now though I simply let myself enjoy the warmth of his body and the pleasant ache settling into my limbs.

This morning I woke first. He was still asleep beside me, dark hair mussed against the pillow. I lay there smiling, body deliciously spent, every muscle reminding me of the night in the gentlest way. The flat felt quiet and golden with early light. I slipped out carefully to make tea, already replaying the way he had held me, the way he had looked at me like I was something worth claiming. Whatever happens next, last night was pure spark, and I am carrying that glow with me into the day.
