Work with me if you have a real ask, a real name, and a deadline that is not “yesterday if possible.” I have a full time job in the city. This blog is the other life. I will not pretend I can vanish into your content calendar for a month. I am open to podcast interviews, quoted features, panel chats, and the odd collaboration that still sounds like me. If you want the Essex bank supervisor who writes long, honest pieces about dating, appetite, and the gap between the work face and the girl in the hoodie, that is what you get. If you want a polished lifestyle mascot, you want someone else.
What I will consider
Podcasts and interviews. Text features and Q and As. Guest spots on newsletters that are actually read. Sensible brand work if it does not clash with my job or make me shill junk. Joint pieces with writers I already trust.
What I will not do
I will not name colleagues, employers, or private people. I will not pretend a night happened so you have a launch story. I will not write revenge briefs, “expose this man” packages, or anything that smells like a hunt. I will not endorse products I would not use. I will not turn Sunday roast into a sponsored segment.
How to ask
Email via the contact form with Work with me in the subject. Tell me who you are, where it will live, the format, the date, and the angle in a few short paragraphs. Attach examples of your show or publication. If there is a fee, say so. If there is no fee, say that too. Mystery rates waste everyone’s afternoon.
Practical bits
I speak like I write. Slightly dry, a bit sweary, not interested in humiliating anyone for clips. I can do audio. I prefer questions in advance if the chat is live. I need a window outside bank hours unless we have agreed something rare. If you need legal approvals from my employer, the answer is almost certainly no, so do not build a campaign on my job title.
Guest writing sits on the contact page. This page is for working with me as me. If you are a reader with a story idea, that is a submission. If you are a producer who wants me on the mic, that is this.
If it is a good fit I will say yes plainly. If it is not I will say no the same way. Either way, be decent in the inbox. I notice manners more than I notice follower counts.
